Goooooooogle

I actually had to Google myself for a career development class last semester, so when I looked at the results (after seeing the chess-related results when typing my first name, Caissa, into Google Instant), I was happy to see that nothing much had changed.

Most of the relevant results (only on the first three or so pages) were from my Twitter account, so I was a little scared that, despite me changing my settings from private to public and back many times, everyone could see my tweets. Thankfully, as I saw when I clicked on the first result, my Twitter page, that's not the case.

Other results included links to old stories I wrote when I worked for The Daily Cardinal, certain things I commented on or liked on Facebook (which was also a little creepy), an article that my friend interviewed me for, and results from my pathetic stint on the UW Bowling Team freshman year. (Yes, we had a bowling team when Union South was still around. Not sure if we still do though.)

All in all, the results were not too surprising, and nothing that could really hurt my chances of getting a job came up - except for possibly my Bebo account...I don't know why that's still up there. But come on, that was from high school...
