perusing myspace

After viewing MySpace profiles I noticed a few things...First, it's relatively easy to access information on people (as compared to Facebook where privacy settings can be set/can't see info on people unless you're friends). Clicking on random people's profiles and reading them felt kinda "creeperish". I also noticed the format of MySpace profiles, many of them being pretty chaotic with a lot of advertisements. The design and look of one's MySpace was one thing that defined the person because they got to choose their design/background etc. I noticed that people's personal profiles seemed a bit more chaotic than famous Hollywood personnel or people in the spotlight in the music industry. MySpace just felt like an outdated version of Facebook, something that would be in place before a more organized social network place took root.
