Practicum 3 - Lily

As I get more deeply involved with my social networking sites, some patterns are emerging. Google Buzz does not appear to be a very active site, despite it's interesting premise. The people and organizations I follow do not post often, perhaps once every few days, and no one comments (or, i suspect, reads) my posts. I'll continue trying to get attention on this site, but I don't foresee much success. Flixter is a different story. I've been challenged to movie quizzes by my new friends, people have commented on my posts, and i've even chatted with a few people. Users on this site seem very outgoing and eager to make new connections. On Mugglespace, it is not difficult to find someone to talk to. There is a constant, running dialogue on the blogs, message boards, and chat rooms. It seems that, as the new movie approaches, the site is becoming more active. I'll continue to try to make a name for myself in the digital world by posting, responding, and creating content on these sites.
