Wow, its been a while since I've last posted, so at this point, this is pretty much me just playing catch up... If at the end of this you're thinking to yourself that you've heard everything you just read before, you're right! I talked about this in my presentation, but I think its important, so imma bring it up again.
When I started playing WoW, the idea of teamwork was brought into question since it was proving difficult for me to get anyone to even acknowledge that I was there. All of this pretty much changed when I got to a quest titled: "Relics of Wakening". Basically, I had to run into a cave absolutely packed with troll looking things and find four different relics. For my first few attempts, I ran into the cave by myself to try and find the relics and get out of there asap. I quickly realized that that wasn't going to happen since every time I turned around, a new troll was beatin' on me. The solution I came up with finally put to rest any questions about multiplayer in the WoW. In order to finally make my way all the way through, I waited for a group of other players to come and I would just join them! With the effort of 3-4 other players, we pretty much plowed through the cave no problem.

I finally got some interaction with other players. My only issue now is that I just don't understand how people actually make friends with others in this world. I have no headset so I can't just talk as I go, and typing while running is impossible. Add that to the fact that after we were finished with the quest, everyone (in what was very loosely considered a group) went their separate ways. There was no real bond. Maybe someday I'll figure it out. If I do, I'll let you know, but until then, I'll just keep on keepin' on all by myself...
