Practicum #6

Signing back into the beer forum was pretty typical for me. No personal interaction with anyone, no inbox messages or responses to my most recent post regarding the store that is in my home town that sells a ton of brewing equipment. I find it hard to believe that no one else on the forum that discusses brewing beer is from Wisconsin, much less Milwaukee, and wouldn't know about this large depot for equipment. Many of the participants on the forum are getting very excited about the approaching holidays and are discussing brewing beer for their holiday parties. Under the "how often do you brew topic", however there is another college student! He is way more into brewing that I will most likely ever be, but it is good to see a fellow student on the forum. He discussed slowing his brewing down around finals time which I thought was pretty funny. He said he would like to brew twice a week ideally, but school does not allow for that much time spent away from the books. That was one of the most exciting posts of the semester for me I suppose. I continue to use the site for getting ideas about brewing, and actually intend to use them over winter break. Hopefully they work!

  1. The dream of my best friend is to be a brewer for a famous company someday so he home brews all the time! Which is pretty awesome because he shares his creations with us :) I'm not sure how interested you are in brewing but the University offers a brewing class..it's very limited space, but my friend took it and LOVED it...they brew, drink, and tour breweries. Just a thought, in case you're really interested!
