I discovered StumbleUpon and Delicious let you link friends across multiple online media platforms like email, Facebook and Twitter. But I'm having trouble finding friends/people to follow on Delicious. Upon asking my friends, none of them have even heard of Delicious and in order to establish a network, I need to know people's usernames. StumbleUpon makes it easier to follow people.
To join Delicious, you have to create a Yahoo account. From there, accessing your profile allows you to see people's updates (like FB status) across multiple online media platforms (Yahoo chat, FB and even Twitter). Yahoo suggests people for you to connect with, and your profile is more than just a few words about yourself: you can add personal interests, upload photos, add applications create a blog and a guestbook.
