History of the Internet Response

It seems crazy to think that the Internet was “only a vague idea” fifty years ago. Occasionally I will think back to my elementary days when I had to wait for what seemed like hours for my dial-up to work and allow me on AOL. That seems like forever ago, but it’s incredible how much the Internet has evolved over my 21 years of existence. Which is why I appreciated the “History of the Internet” video, it reminded me how much time went into building what we call the Internet today. Aside from that part, I liked that the video summed up the important material taught earlier in lecture. I’m also a visual learner so it helped me to actually see what we learned in lecture, with the use of diagrams and illustrations.

Other than that, the narrator’s voice began to irritate me towards the end of the video. It was just very monotonous, I had to rewind the video a few times because I caught myself daydreaming and not paying attention.
